By booking your chosen activity, you agree to the following terms of use. If you are booking on behalf of anyone else, as the lead booker, you are responsible to ensure that everyone attending is aware and accepts these terms of use.
The following guidance is in addition to any terms & conditions relating to specific activities, events, or functions.
Terms and conditions
- All activities must be paid for in advance.
- All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If you have found something, please hand it in; if you have lost something, please let us know.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behaviour and well-being of the child in their care and must always maintain supervision. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding the behaviour of another customer; do not attempt to intervene yourself.
- You will behave in a considerate and polite manner to all staff and other customers. You will not swear or act in any way which others may consider offensive, abusive or inappropriate. You will comply with all reasonable instructions given by our staff in relation to your conduct and use of our centres.
- Please treat the building and any equipment with respect.
- All damages, either accidental or deliberate, must be reported to a member of staff.
- KAL reserves the right to prevent you from entering the centre or may ask you to leave, if we believe that you are not adhering these terms of use; no refund would be issued in these circumstances.
- KAL reserves the right without prior notice to amend these conditions.
Using our facilities safely
- You are advised that the activity can contain a degree of physical exertion and / or specific activities with which there may be a risk of injury associated. By taking part in the activity, you accept that you have understood this risk exists.
- You are expected to use reasonable caution when using the facility and not complete any activities outside of your ability or behave in an unsafe manner which may cause injury to yourself or someone else.
- If you have any medical conditions or injuries which may affect your ability to participate safely, you must speak to your doctor before participating in the activity.
- Where a safety briefing is in place, you must attend this prior to participating in the activity. You must attend the safety briefing on every visit even if you have attended before.
- You must follow all rules and instructions given by our staff and displayed on signage within the facility.
- You must not use our facilities under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- KAL does not accept responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by, or to any person, or the property of any person, using or visiting the premises or the grounds of the premises.
- Children or adults who are unwell, or who have been unwell, should not participate in the activity for at least 48 hours.
- Report all accidents to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide assistance and minimise the potential of re-occurrence.
Terms of use
- Pool Parties are not included in any membership.
- Inflatable use is for 3 years of age or above only.
- Pool Admission Policy ratios apply.
- All sessions are 60 minutes long, which includes a safety briefing and swim test.
- All customers are invited to arrive 15 minutes before the start of their session as stated in the terms and conditions. Entry will be denied for customers who do not arrive for the start of the session.
- The normal swimming Pool Admission Policy applies.
- Once your time slot has finished, please leave the designated area. Using our facilities safely
- Please wear appropriate swim wear. In addition, please ensure small children who require a nappy, wear a specific swim nappy.
- Lifejackets or buoyancy jackets must be worn at all times unless a swimmer is proficient, or a swim test has been passed.
- A swim test consisting of a jump into deep water followed by a continuous swim of 25m must be passed in order to use the inflatable without a lifejacket.
- You must attend the safety brief for Pool Parties and complete a swim test. If you are late to the session after the safety brief has started or swim test completed then you must wear a lifejacket if you are under the age 16.
- Wristbands will be issued upon passing the swim test and must be worn at all times.
- You should not participate in this activity if you are pregnant.
- Rules of play must be adhered to at all times.
- The instructions of staff must be followed at all times.
- WARNING: Pool parties feature bright flashing lights sequences which may affect photosensitive/epileptic participants.
Photography
Photography by customers for personal use in the following locations is permitted as long as the individual taking the photographs is not causing disruption to the operation of our facilities, activities or services:
- Reception and café areas
- Corridors and general seating areas
- Facilities that the customer has hired exclusively (for example: swimming pools, meeting rooms, children’s parties, sports halls)
- Fitness suites
- Group exercise studios
- Indoor activity areas (for example: sports halls, tennis courts, squash courts, soft play areas, TAG X)
- Outdoor areas (for example: football pitches, golf courses, driving ranges, running tracks and tennis courts).
Please only photograph your own children, family or group
